Enjoyed Kevin's last college concert

The concert tonight in Spivey Hall is the last one he'll be in before he graduates with his Bachelor's degree from Clayton State. He sang a wonderful solo in an Irish poem song that brought a tear to my eye and a smile to my lips. He also sang with everyone else in a bunch of other songs. 

Good job, Kevin! 

Fun Easter with family

We traveled to Pennsylvania to spend Easter weekend with Megan. Booker, and our granddaughters. What a fun time! 

We relaxed at the house with the kids quite a bit, and even took care of them one night so Megan and Booker could have a date night. That night we made brownies and cooked hamburgers and fries with Grace.

Enjoyed fish at Catholic church

We've enjoyed the fried fish at a local Catholic church on Friday evenings this Lenten season. We've gone three times and even took our son Kevin there for dinner this past Friday. 

They're a nice bunch of people, and it's fun to see and hear what they have been doing in the community. We're honest when they ask if we go there and tell people about our church with no issues. 

Fun to share the Easter season experience this way!

Enjoyed Cherry Blossom Festival

Sue and I drove to Macon and walked around at the Cherry Blossom Festival there. Beautiful day! We enjoyed some blooms but they weren't cherry blossoms and enjoyed shopping and people watching. Fun day together! 

Good date night at church

Our church has done some form of a "date night" in the spring for the past few years. It's a fun night out for couples and good teaching from a guest speaker each year. For dinner we picked up fish from the Catholic Church fish fry and brought it to eat with the others at our church before the big event. We got to meet a really nice couple while we were eating. Fun! 

Toured City of Refuge

My wife and I toured City of Refuge, a place helping people get out of bad situations and in the road to better lives in downtown Atlanta. They have a lot of good things that are doing, and we're glad that it church is supporting their efforts. Good stuff! 

Great Pi Day!

We celebrated Pi Day in Florida this year. We were out in the field to watch for the SpaceX launch then had some delicious pecan pie. Woohoo!
