New grandson!

Our daughter Megan gave birth to her and Booker's 3rd child and our third grandchild! 

Malachi John Riddick was born today around 11:30am via C-section. 7 lbs 12 oz Both baby and Megan are doing fine.

Great week at the beach

We had a great week in Panama City! We stayed at a condo our friends own with easy access to the beach, a great pool, and quick access to all the fun things to do there. We enjoyed walks on the beach, good food, an IMAX movie, a bunch of murals, a sunset cruise on a sail boat, and celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary. Woohoo!

Sue and I celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary today! We're still having grand adventures and enjoying being together. Woohoo!

Fun at the zoo

Sue and I had a good time at the Savannah Nights event at the zoo tonight. The animals were amazing to see and the orangutan feeding and bird talk was fun. Thunderstorms all around but just a little rain on us. Fun!

Enjoyed helping at VBS

Sue and I had a great time helping at our churches VBS this week. We did the crafts with the 4 and 5 year olds each night. It was so much fun! It was even more fun to see some of the kids we took care of in the 3-year-olds class in Sunday mornings as older kids now. And it was great to have several of the youth helping us! Fun stuff!

Great July 4th!

We had a great time today! Took Sue to Hobby Lobby for some new paints, then had a burger at Miller's Ate House. Went to Stone Mountain in the evening to see the laser/drone/fireworks show, which was better than ever! Fun day!

Visited Kevin and Madison

We enjoyed driving over and visiting Kevin and Madison at their apartment today. It was fun seeing how they've set things up and then hanging out but the pool. We ordered even ordered subs and had a picnic. Fun!

Saw Kevin lead worship

Sue and I did our "groupie" thing and drive to Macon to see Kevin on stage. He got to lead worship at Gateway Church today. 

It was great to see him playing and singing, and even better to give him a hug before and after the service. 

Afterwards we grabbed lunch at Buc-ee's and drove home. Fun!

Fun with friends

We had a great time meeting our friends Tim and Cathleen for "Music in the Park" tonight! Beautiful evening, no rain on us, cool music, and good food. We've known them for many years and enjoyed catching up and hanging out. Fun!

Good aquarium visit

Sue and I went to the aquarium and enjoyed seeing all the kids and soccer families looking at the fish. Fun!

Fun helping Kevin move

We had fun helping Kevin move more stuff to Alabama yesterday! We loaded up a bunch of his clothes and some furniture he wanted and drove the truck to his and Madison's apartment in Auburn. We had a nice lunch afterwards at the Little Italy pizzeria in downtown Auburn. I'm proud of my son and his new bride!

Enjoyed zoo event

We enjoyed going to a members event at Zoo Atlanta tonight! It was the Gorilla Gathering: An evening with the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. Very nice to have two of the scientists, Veronica and Tara, who helped sell and then explain what was filmed for the Netflix special that is very active right now. Nice event!.

Kevin and Madison married

We're thrilled that Kevin and Madison had such a great wedding today! Lots of family and friends were in attendance, and everything was beautiful. Awesome!

Blue Moon this Sunday

Remember, the second full moon this month, known as a *blue moon",  happens on Saturday night/Sunday morning. If you've got something you only do "once in a blue moon" this is the week to do it!

Good trip to Jacksonville

Stephen's girlfriend Kenzi graduated from college with her Bachelor's degree AND was celebrating her 30th birthday. I had a good time going down and staying with Jacob and Jessica and going with them to the festivities. Fun to see her and a lot of her family along with our adult children!

Kevin moved to AL

Or youngest left to live in Alabama today. He is engaged to be married son and is establishing himself over there as part of his preparation. He has a job and is excited to be closer to his fiance while she is in veterinary school. Good job, Kevin!

Good Florida trip

Sue and I went to the little house in Florida for a couple of days. We enjoyed having our neighbors and some family over for dinner one night, then enjoyed going to the beach the next. Along the way we got to stop at Buc-ee's, get the well fixed again, and relax. Fun!

Enjoyed VR ISS tour

Sue and I enjoyed the Fever ISS VR tour today! It was an amazing experience, fully impressive and everything. I loved how they had different groups of people walking around each other as we all enjoyed whatever part of the experience at were in. We followed it up with dinner at Ameer's Mediterranean Grill, which was delicious. What an adventure!

Great time with granddaughters

We had a great time with our granddaughters this week! We enjoyed having Megan, Booker, Grace, and Rejoice join us for Easter service on Sunday morning, then had a blast taking care of it granddaughters for a few days! We went to Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary and Southern Belle Farm as well as did exercises and baking at the house. It was a fun first time experience for us and we're looking forward to more time with our grandchildren in the future. Woohoo!

Easter is such a wonderful Christian holiday. We try to celebrate in different ways. This year we're happy to have our daughter and her family with us. Woohoo!
