Sue and I had a good time driving the Miata through the north Georgia mountains this weekend! We drove to Cleveland, GA, then headed west through Dahlonega to Adairsville. We had the top down most of the way through the mountains but started getting some light rain as we approached Adairsville. It was amazing to see all the oranges and reds mixed with the evergreens on the two-lane roads. With the top down we could hear the leaves crunch under the tires and swirl behind us, which was amazing!
We enjoyed our first "bed and breakfast" experience, too. The house had been built in 1895 and lovingly restored by a couple next door, and the breakfast they served was delicious! We enjoyed getting to know them.
